Financial Literacy Efforts
Partner and volunteers with organizations, e.g., Junior Achievement, Gus Stravros Center, to help deliver financial literacy education to students as well as the teacher who will be required to teach financial literacy in the classroom.
Students 8 – 12 and Classroom teachers.
Types of Content
Materials for volunteers in JA BizTown and JA Finance Park are provided by Junior Achievement. Supplement to that, we have materials from National Financial Educators Council.
Long Term Objective
Be a key resource for the teachers of Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, Polk, Sarasota, Citrus counties via Gus Stravros Center as they prepare to fulfill the half-credit financial literacy requirement for high school graduation mandated.
